Launcher doesn't launch

Hello there,

First of all a big big thank you for reviving my favorite space sim!!! I'm so looking forward to playing it again with improved graphics!
But to do so, I probably need to get my launcher working. I attached a screenshot of the error. It only occurs when I open the launcher.
The game itself (wcsaga_sse2.exe) works fine. The problem is that I cannot change settings like resolution ingame. I assume these options are available in the launcher?
Any ideas anyone? Many thanks in advance!
