Cannot map Thrustmaster Warthog buttons

I try to play this game with the Thrustmaster Warthog Stick (without throttle). The launcher does recognize the stick, but I cannot map any buttons ingame. If I press a button during detection the game simply ignores it.
Does anyone know a solution for this problem?
