Proxima 4 Mission not working?

Hello, I'm having a little problem here: I'm playing the Proxima 4 mission from the main campaign.
It's the mission about the fighter transfer from the TCS Langley.

I start the mission and play it. Escort the first three Arrows to the Hermes and destroy some Kilrathi fighters.
Then, nothing happens. I can still see the Arrows inside the Hermes, flying around like ghosts.
But nothing else happens. No enemy, no waypoints, no dialogues.

I tried three times the mission, and it was always exactly like this. Am I doing something wrong?

The only thing I did with the game was to use (slightly) custom ships.tbl and weapons.tbl, but I don't think they can cause the issue.

I finally completed the mission. The problem were the custom tables I used. It must mean that editing the ships interferes with the functions used and breaks the mission
