WC Saga on Intel GMA X1300 ? was created by Erethorn
Hello and congrats for your work.
Can I play WC Saga on an Acer Aspire 5315 laptop, with an Intel GMA x1300 onboard graphics card ?
I have installed the game but when I run it I get a black screen (in full screen) or an empty window (in windowed mode). There is sound playing, but I can't see anything.
I can run Freespace 1 and 2 with no problems. I have tried updating the graphic card drivers to the latest version, run the game in admin mode, but no luck.
Please help, and thank you in advance.

Not sure. In theory it should run the game. First step would be to install latest drivers from Intel's official website. It is possible that the drivers you are using do not have full OpenGL implementation.

Latest drivers installed, directly from the intel website, no luck, no video.

Hi,
you say Freespace 1+2 running properly.
Do you use the SCP extension or do you playing the retail version ??
The specs of your Grapics chip looks ok:
Open GL 2.0 Check
Pivel shader 3.0 Check.
RAM: little bit low with 384MB shared Memory but must be run.
