Mods?

i noticed in the launcher of the game a "Mods" tab... which i am very curious about!

how do i create a mod for the game that i can select in this tab? does it work like creating a Freespace 2 mod? it would be fun to make some mods and tinker with the game a little... like making the Rapier flyable and stuff like that... so yeah, really curious about this particular tab and how it works

The modding tools haven't been released yet; the current priority is on patching any issues that crop up. Stay tuned; there are plans to release a full set of modding tools in the near future.

Multiplayer mod would be a dream come true! can you imagine doing a mission with your space fighter friends.
