Fantastic stuff, really brings back the memories of WC 3 and 4.

I'm currently using a Warthog HOTAS (and making a decent configuration to really make it HOTAS is going to take a bit of time...). I got the bright idea to try using my rudder pedals (Saitek) as a roll axis, but it looks like the game will only accept 1 controller (I use the TARGET software to combine the throttle and joystick so the game sees those 2 as 1). I vaguely remember having this problem in FS2, but don't recall if it was ever resolved.

When I select the rudder in the launcher, it will work but the joystick/throttle won't. Is there any work around for this?

Doubt it, unless someone makes a universal device combination emulator. I have the same problem on 99% of the sims I play, mostly old ones. Most older engines are designed to find/use one input device. Best bet on the Warthog HOTAS is to assign the roll keyboard keys to the up and down on the thumb hat, up-roll left, down-roll right.

Google ppjoy and it should solve your problem.

If I had the money, I'd very much like to play WCS on a Warthog. Nice one ;)

They are certainly nice to have. Very solid and well-built feel. The programming software is complicated but very effective and useful. I picked mine up on E-bay as a damaged box product. I paid about a hundred dollars less and there was no damage. The box looked like it had been tapped by a pallet, breaking through the cardboard and foam, but the spot was directly behind the base plate which wasn't even scratched. Look carefully and you'll find stuff like that.

I have window 7 64 bit (where you cannot switch the unsigned drivers off), and I cannot use PPJoy, because as a driver it is not signed? i tried with f8 and disable the signing, but still it would not install... and Thrustmaster's and Saitek's similar signed combination drivers (of course) only allow their own stuff to be combined... WCSaga could well use multiple joysticks to support those who have nice Thrustmaster HOTAS setup with other rudder... All the other modern games can do this. I like the fact that WCSaga is a bit retro, but it does not have to be a crippled retro...
if you have another good solution, please let me know!

trying disabling windows driver signing

open the command prompt (CMD) as administrator
At the prompt type:

bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON

reboot. You should see a message at the bottom right off the screen "windows 7 test mode. Build (some numbers here). Reinstall ppjoy.
