auto glide doesnt work

I Just got done playing the prologue and the auto glide worked great, but now started the darkest dawn and it no longer works on the controller or keyboard. im playing the first mission is there a reason for this im flying the hellcat

Yes, only the Arrow and Excalibur are capable of gliding.
