Please tell me how to take down Skipper missiles

My name is Dan i am new on this forum and i am playing the WC darkest dawn I played almost to the end BUT I AM GETTING STUCK where we do not get in time to save that carrier KINNEY and the survivor Battleaxe ship after a few encounters with the KILRATHY gets hit by a cloaked missle called SKIPPER LAUNCHED FROM A CORVETTE SHIP.Itried many times to shut down that missle but every time i try is impossible to find it in time.Please can you tell me what to do to finish that missile and stage? O will much appreciate your advice.WC is the best game i ever played ant in the game i got many decorations but i got stuck at that stage and i cannot continue.Also how i can find the path of the Skipper missle launched from those Corvettes? Is there a way to save the Carrier Kinney?I feel so bad.....Thanks

Set your radar range to infinity and watch for yellow blips, then the "target bomb(er)" key is your best friend; I think it is "B" by default. It will target bombers or torpedos / capship missiles if there are any in flight; torpedoes and capships will be targeted before bombers.

I would also suggest staying close to the frigate.

Listen to Background Audio carefully: when you hear the missile launch, immediately press B button to target any bombs/missiles. Immediately afterburn towards it to take it down. In case the missile got cloaked again, fly towards the frigate and keep pressing B button, it will re-appear again one more time.

To take down the Skipper missile, you can either use Spiculum IR missile or IFF missile. It will take some focus and practice but you can do it.
