Why can't I save the TCS KINNEY and why the hell to we autopilot towards it only to find its still 400 000 clicks away ?

It's because you can't save it. By the time you get there, there only one frigate left, which you DO have to try and save.

yes, the TCS Battleaxe and also hard to stop that cap missile.

Oh yeah, the Kinney Mission again... This mission is a bit famous for being the mission most find very hard to accomplish.
There are already a whole bucket oft threads about this mission here and in other Wing Commander forums. If you need help destroying the skipper missiles, look there. The key to getting the missiles down is following their path from the launch towards the Battleaxe with engaged afterburners while pressing the B key all the time to make sure your target is locked on the skipper as soon as it decloaks. If you fly with approximately the same speed as the skipper, then you're right behind it when that happens, and then you can take it down.

My name is Dan i am new on this forum and i am playing the WC darkest dawn I played almost to the end BUT I AM GETTING STUCK where we do not get in time to save that carrier KINNEY and the survivor Battleaxe ship after a few encounters with the KILRATHY gets hit by a cloaked missle called SKIPPER LAUNCHED FROM A CORVETTE SHIP.Itried many times to shut down that missle but every time i try is impossible to find it in time.Please can you tell me what to do to finish that missile and stage? O will much appreciate your advice.WC is the best game i ever played ant in the game i got many decorations but i got stuck at that stage and i cannot continue.Also how i can find the path of the Skipper missle launched from those Corvettes? Is there a way to save the Carrier Kinney?I feel so bad.....Thanks.Dan
