tips on destroying destroyers

As arisian said - you can't win all missions (some are scripted that way), so as long as you are alive you can continue even if you failed the mission.

As already stated: Just try to stay alive

Before Darkest dawn was released I used to fly into the little hanger bay and blast away, I didn't work as well this time because the the destroyer seems to shoot more missiles now in the updated version!
