I think if WCS FRED is released it could make FMs popular!

I think when WCS FRED is released, it may just have a community following like the Thief series of games does.

I am a big fan of Thief 2 and already know how to use dromed (Editor for thief to make fan missions)

They have TONS of fan missions fans have made over the years and some are quite good. They even have contests every now and then to promote the best Thief FM in certian categories.

I hope WCS FRED is released soon and people start to work on and eventually release fan missions for WCS...I think it would be one way to carry on this game for a long time to come.

Thief was released when computers were running windows 98! And the editor was released not too many years after that, so it has been a community that has been around for a long time.

I am hoping the same thing will happen for the WCS community, because I have missed space combat games and it was hard to find ANY during the last few years.
