Hi all,

I am really enjoying playing the Darkest Dawn and I have just got as far as selecting my own weapons loadout. What i wanted to suggest was a few concepts to add something to new campaigns:

1. Flybys - You should get sometimes good, sometimes bad radio chatter for doing flybys on friendly craft. I love doing Flybys.

2. If you fly a good mission with minimal damage you should be able to go help the other patrols. This would add a level of randomness/unique happenings to each mission. It would also reward good pilots allowing them to add to their kills while sending bad pilots who have alot of damage home.

3. Following on from the previous idea your accuracy stats with shooting aswell as flying experience could be used to decside which squadron your assigned to. This could be done so highly accurate pilots get rewarded by promotions to new squadrons sooner while less accurate pilots get there eventually but only when they have achieved so many kills.

4. I would like my own call sign in game. Obviously Darkest Dawn is scripted i understand that but individual callsigns is a must for me. Especially if the game develops multiplayer. Campaign wise it adds to the level of authencity.

5. A cameo by Hobbes. He is by far my favourite pilot.

6. Finally if the previous suggestions were not enough i would like to see a Kilrathi campaign. I mean as a Kilrathi taking out furless freaks, flying a Vargoth, destroying the Hermes, etc.

Im truly amazed by this game and really enjoying the Darkest Dawn Campaign. Thanks to all concerned for making it happen.

Try flying through another carrier's flight deck when you're assigned to land on the Hermes. I've had a good laugh. :lol:

True, I just landed (or better, tried to land) on the next best ship with an opening in its middle, whithout thinking any further.
Was one of the best moments in this game. :D

Modders will probably be thankful for these suggestions. As for us, there will be no campaign after darkest dawn.

Will the tools for mission design have an option to create a string of missions?

Ok so just finished the Darkest Dawn. Truly awesome.

I feel inspired to make missions with the misson editor now.
