Windows 8 crash

When i run the game, warning dialog say me there are 59 warnings. Then, when i click on Ready Room, game crashes with:

Could not load exp04 anim file

KERNELBASE.dll! <no symbol> KERNELBASE.dll! WaitForSingleObject + 18 bytes wcsaga_sse2.exe! <no symbol> wcsaga_sse2.exe! <no symbol>

Can we expect Win 8 support patch in the future? Thanks.

The game runs flawlessly on Windows 8. Please try installing the game to a different location, for example c:\Games\Wing Commander Saga and report back.
