Can't Find the WCS Download Link. Please Help..

I read PC Gammer mag and found out about WCS. I use to play Freespace. I found the sownload section but there is nothing there to download. Please Help DC...

it is the largest file in the section labeled "releases" link: http://www.wcsaga.com/downloads/files/d ... p-zip.html

you may want to start with the prologue campaign for the basic controls you can change what campaign your playing in the campaign room(just float your mouse over the doors and people you'll find it)

Thank's for the quick reply i'm downloading the file now. Do i need to apply any patchs or updates?....

After downloading the big ZIP archive it's recommended to check it against download errors with the "WCS Setup ZIP Check & UnZip". In Hornet's Nest you can find an older version (1.1.0.0) from this tool and in german forum there is a newer version:

darkest-dawn-setup_zip-check-unzip1.1.0.2.zip Edit: Link removed, outdated. (Luke 30.05.2012 12:23:13)

With this you can check the ZIP archive and after the check the tool can unzip the archive for you. Very simple.

The next point is the current WCS patch. This can also be found in Hornet's Nest:

WCS Patches

Now you are ready to kick some Kilrathi arses. 😁

P.S.: Welcome on board Darth Corleone 😊
