Radar lock indicator?

What does the filled circles on the side of the radar lock indicate?

locking & locked.

Wrong, those indicate how many other ships are currently targeting your target.

Oh... I call them dots. 😉

Yeah what KK said, Its a FS2 feature which was very handy when handing out attack orders. Still useful in Saga where you can see if other friendlies are all over a target before the shooting starts, lets you pick a less popular target for yourself...

Thanks for this info. I've wasted a lot of good missiles only to see it blow up just before my missile gets there.
