Caliban 3
Please post any problems or comments specific to this mission here.
Only issue that came up from my play through was there was a line that came up on the HUD as being from Psychopath but it wasn't his distinctive voice. It was one of the other wingmen. This was at the last waypoint before going back to the Hermes as I recall.
Other than that... cool, straightforward and no problems. The in-engine cut scene works perfectly.

Jim Bowie decloaking...
The third Caliban mission was fun starting off with using the Thunderbolts to go after the two destroyers. The situation with the jump point disappearing reminded me of one of the missions from Wing Commander 3 in which the Victory has to find an alternivave jump point after the one they were going to use got closed off.
I had forgotten that the models folder contained the multiple prowler pof files so it was a bit of a surprise when the Jim Bowie decloaked after you finish off the Kilrathi destroyer picket. However it now makes the end of the previous mission make more sense as the combination of the cloaking device and the nebula would have made it darn near impossible for that Kilrathi carrier group to find the Jim Bowie after it had sent you Thunderbolts away.
When I finally got to the jamming ship I must say that I was instantly reminded of the Confed jamming transport from Wing Commander 4 due to the way both ships were equipped with antenna. Upon arriving back at the Hermes I made sure to put the guns of my Thunderbolt to use in killing the Sorthak’s. I did not realize that the Sorthak carried a bomber flag until this point. I knocked them down before they could cause too much damage.
As the whole battle group was supposed to be here to jump out of the system I scrolled through the target list before landing and I noticed that a ship was missing from the battle group. I then took a look at all three of the Caliban missions in FRED and found that it was nowhere to be seen. What happen to the TCS Battleaxe as we rescued the frigate from the Kenny CVBG in Nifelheim? I would think that, like the Jim Bowie, the Battleaxe should be operating as part of the Hermes group at least until we get to Torgo.

Very good point. An oversight on our part. Please open a Mantis ticket for this.

beta8 playthrough:
There is nothing to add. This mission works great I like the idea of the storys of WC3 and Saga becoming intertwined this closely. Finaly some of the old questions are answered in a game (and not a novel only)
Greenlighting status updated.
You don'T need to post that. If you update the version in the report, we'll notice that.
Sorry, was Tolwyn's idea since he mentioned that you don't always see updated posts in phpBB.
Indeed. phpBB3 has several disadvantages, this is one of them.
