An Error for Each Program

Greetings,

After installing WCSaga-Beta, I have hit the following two errors;

When I try and start the Launcher program I am greeted by the following error; [Image: http://www.the-idg.com/WC-Beta/Fatal-Error-01.jpg] which terminates the program after clicking OK

The Second error is hit when I try and launch Wing Commander Saga; [Image: http://www.the-idg.com/WC-Beta/Error-01.jpg] ...which I'm not, however it will still run the game, but without sound or any way to set the screen resolution.

Have you tried to update DirectX and/or your soundcard drivers?

First of all, have you installed OpenAL?

That is always the most likely cause. It is either that or OpenAl incompatiility (which is rare these days).
