QA Readyness report

Ok guys. Here's the deal. We want to release the trailer soon which means we need a release date. For that we kinda need to know how fast you think you can test the Master Candidate once it is out.

Not very fast due to RL issues but I'll do my best.

I need an estimate. "Not very fast" doesn't help really.

I'll see if I can spend at least 2 or 4 hours per week for testing.

2-4 hours per week won't do it. It takes ~20-25 hours to play through the entire campaign and once the MC is out we'll have 3 weeks tops to fix any remaining issues.

It depends, but I think that if I organize my time well I could do total playthrough in 3 weeks including replaying missions that still need fixing.

I would agree to damsons estimate. A few hours per day should be possible, so the three weeks could fit into my timetable.

My teaching load this semester is higher than I'd anticipated, so I haven't had as much time for testing as I'd like. Three weeks to play through everything once should be fine; the problem with greenlighting was that I always played every mission repeatedly to test the outcomes of different actions. If I'm not doing that, I can probably manage to keep up, though it will depend some on when the testing is to occur. If it's during the period I have to grade final projects, for example, it could be a problem.

Well we still have to test it thoroughly. Although I hope we caught most of the bugs by now.

I must have missed this thread due to that computer problem I had last weekend. As an answer my schedule is now fairly open. Still I agree with damsons estimate as well. Once the MC is out I should be able to work through it in that 3 weeks time frame as well.

I made the mistake of running 20 missions and their variants straight, I could hardly use my wrist for two days...that being said, I think I can do 5 missions a day with variants, weekends more, so make it 2 weeks with unknown delays to run through the whole thing. The factors that come into play are when you release MC and how it runs with my upcoming travel schedule.

We'll see how we get things done.
