Stick of joy

Since there's a new beta build I figured I'd repost this...

Joystick still not working 😛

It's a Thrustmaster HOTAS X, I select it in the launcher, turn mouse off ingame but none of the inputs are recognised.

Additionally I have an MS Sidewinder Precision Pro (USB) that works quite fine ingame.

I have Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X (it's the same as yours I presume) and it works OK. Check if you can calibrate it from the Windows Control Panel. If there is no motion there check the position of PC/PS3 switch on the joystick (I had 2 occurences when my 2 year old son swithed it without my knowing 😡 ) .

It works fine, PC/PS3 selector is one of the first things I checked. Actually, it's the second thing I check, right after checking if it's plugged in 😛

Where did you find the Thrustmaster Hotas X? I have an Older Saitek X45 (Saving my money for an X61/2, the 300+ USD setup)

I got mine off Amazon actually. They're good sticks and I haaaaaate not being able to use it in WCS 😢

Nope... First beta I was in it worked after a hotfix by Keldor though. Now it's just sitting on my desk. Looking at me accusingly.

It gets jealous. 😢

That hotfix is still part of the code so I really don't see what changed here.

I'm not sure either. After I patched the game it worked, but when the next beta hit it stopped working. 😢 How'bout we blame Tolwyn? 😁

I have a Thrustmaster T-Flight Stick X (from Amazon : http://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B000U1OOH4) and I can't make it work too. The calibration with standard Win7 control panel is ok. The joystick works well with WCII and WCIII (under DOSBox) 😮. Haven't try yet with more recent games.

Before reporting an issue on Mantis, I ask myself if it's just a WCSaga parameter I miss somewhere in the launcher, in game or a keyboard command to enter, but it seems I'm not the only one with this trouble.

Well, just came back after a long period away. I got a new job so I'm now making far more money than the nothing-at-all I was making previously.

Installed latest beta, and my stick didn't work... After talking to his Royal Highness the Great Tolwyn I plugged the stick into another USB port and now it's working fine. 😁

Now of course I have the problem of having to relearn how to fly as I'm now used to the control scheme I had with the Sidewinder I have as a back up 😛

Keep up the good work and don't pelt me with beads anymore. Please.
