I was looking over the ship models and I had a question. What is up with the flight deck of the Yorktown class carrier? I was looking at it and it looks nothing like the Victory's flight deck. :?
The flight control center is like the on on the Lexington in WC4 not the Victory in WC3. A completely different latter down to the flight deck. Also the Victory only had four elevators for bringing craft from the flight deck to and from the hanger deck. The Saga Lexington class has 28 aircraft elevators.
In comparison the TCS Wellington as it appeared in the Prologue looked like it was patterned directly off of the Victory's WC3 layout. I am not denying that the new model looks great, I was just wondering what the reasoning for that drastic change in layout for that part of the ship was?
Quite simple. We are using a lego like system for our confed hangars - several different bits glued together.
Okay, that makes a lot of sense now. ➡️ In fact now that I know that the hanger parts are interchangeable like that I might just make a suggestion about the Lexington class that that has been nagging me for awhile. 😊

Exactly. Getting the hangars final was a royal pain in the butt. So we will NOT EVER touch them again unless something is seriously broken.
So my demands for a bright orange flight deck with black polka dots would fall on deaf ears? 😁
