Joystick Axis Problems was created by Wolf Hawker
Hi All,

I have a Saitek Cyborg Evo(Non-FF)Joystick.

The Joystick is installed correctly, and is recognized in game....Sort of.

I have made sure all the buttons and axises work in windows, however in game, I DO NOT get mapping to the X and Y axises. All other buttons that are mapped work in game, including the Twist Axis for Roll, and the Slider for the Throttle.

I have tried changing the device number in the registry per another post, I have also removed all Logitech Virtual drivers for devices, and have run both the launcher, and WC Saga Exe in Admin mode.

Can anyone help me out? I'd love to be able to fly with my joystick, but currently can not turn or control pitch.

System Specs:

Core I7 Bloomfield
EVGA MB
2 EVGA GT460 SE Video Cards
4 GB Ram
1 TB HD
Win 7 x64 Ultimate

You might need to remap pitch/yaw axis in the options.

That's the same problem I have with the Xbox360 controller, I have remapped the X and Y axis in the game and when I do it the game gets the command, but then in the cockpit it still won't work

If so check if mouse steering is turned on - when it is, only X and Y axes are disabled and the remaining are not (rudder, throttle).

Do you know where the mouse steering option is found?

One last thing I'm not sure if it's already been asked, the triggers from the xbox pad seem to be non-bindable, is that working as intended or am I missing something again?

The triggers can be bound as one axis, not as buttons. I recommend binding them to the roll(bank) axis of the fighter. At least that worked great for me.
