Joystick calibration

Saga recognizes joystick, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, however it does not recognize trottle and handle twist

have you mapped the corresponding axis in the control settings screen?

I also have this joystick and it calibrates fine in Windows, However, even though WCS recognizes that it is plugged in and lists it in the list, NONE of the inputs work in game, even went and tried to set t he controls, it wouldnt detect when I pressed any of the buttons (when the ? was flashing). Also in the mission they wouldn't work (even though the joystick axis are bound by default.)

Try using this hack:

Go in the registry (using regedit.exe) to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Volition\WingCommanderSaga

There is a value there called CurrentJoystick and its value should be 0. Try a differnt value like 1 or 2 here. Then start the game directly by double clicking the game executable wcsaga_sse2.exe inside the game folder, no via the launcher.
