That is very strange. The games saves your progress to those files, so by entering the ready room again you should continue with the next mission.

What does "normal way" mean? you have to start the next mission before quitting... if you quit the game inside the debriefing without hitting "confirm" first, your progress for that mission is not saved...

The game should warn you about that though.

any other suggestions? i tried unplugging other devices, different ports.. nadda.
detects it in the launcher but no go in game :(

Have you tried the registry trick?

i admit initially i hadn't noticed it, but later had tried it.. i can bind buttons but not the axis...
so i can shoot, but nothing else for some reason...
on 1 anyways, on 2 i get nothing. so i hadn't bothered to update my post.
still toying with it to see if i buggered something up, but no luck so far :(
and yes, launching from the install folder and not the launcher before it gets asked :)

and.. there it goes... woot! (yes i was toying with it as i was posting :p )
not sure what i did that time different than the last 2 or 3.. but it seems to be detecting things now!

awesome.. now to enjoy me some good ol' wing commander!

thanks for the mod, and it looks/sounds spectacular from the little i've played so far with the mouse and such..
can't wait to fly it properly!

I know this is an old post but try shutting off the mouse control in the calibration setup.

Hi,

The drivers for X52 are available here :
(English) www.saitek.com/uk/down/drivers.php

(French) www.saitek-fr.com/down/drivers.php

(Choose your product Type) = Joysticks -> (Select Product) = X52 -> (Choose your OS) -> And voila !

Download both the Driver and the Software.
The driver will allow you to configure your stick (Dead zones, LED intensity, Visual display, etc.) while the Software will allow you to create Profiles with button binding.
Outstanding product ;)

After that, you can bind every axis in WCSaga by double-clicking on the Axis Command inside the ingame controls menu, and then moving the Axis you want (in this cas, the throttle should be binded to "Absolute throttle Axis".
