Joystick Wingman Extreme issues was created by hellcat2
First of all a big thanks for creating the Wing Commander Saga game! Its nice
made and looks pretty good, adding the real speaker voices was a smart idea to
create a even better gameplay.
My setup is like that: Windows XP SP3, Creative Sound Blaster AudioPCI 128 card, Logitech
WingMan Extreme (gameport - non USB). The windows game controller setup was ok as it was
included in the joystick list. In the device settings dialog the joystick movements
are ok. In case I press the buttons there it gets recognized but often creates
an error. :? Within wcsaga, the buttons doesn't seem to work, e.g. binding a button
always creates HAT FORWARD. To control the chip is nearly impossible because of two things
first the joystick movements are to slow (changing the sensitivity settings in the options doesnt help)
and the chip is drifting itself to the bottom side without an invention. I tried
to change the reg CurrentJoystick values to any other than 0, but that didn't help either. Help welcome.

I am afraid it sounds like at least one button on your joystick is broken thus creating overlapping mapping ingame.

Thanks for the answer, is there another utility that can simply check the joystick? The other option is to bring the DOS machine back to life as with wc3 it was working ok there.
