Can I ask about GOG WCIII here?

Guys:

I spent a couple of bucks on the GOG download version of Wing Commander III-Heart of the Tiger & I am having some technical issues---and frankly I can't think of anyplace else to ask.

First not able to use/activate my joystick control, and second: now my mouse cursor keeps retreating to the top of the screen so I can't seem to click on anything....

You can certainly ask, I am sure some people here have that WC3 version.
But you should also try the forums of wcnews.com Lots of people there have played it and IIRC even the guys who adapted the games for GOG post there.

Have you tried to calibrate you joystick in the game (ALT+J)? The mouse moving issue sounds like the game would accept commands from your joystick but isn't properly calibrated, which leads to a mouse movement as if you would push the stick forward.
