Well, i don't know where to start. Wing commander is one of my favorite childhood game.
When i discovered wcnews for the first time, i was really happy to see that i wasn't alone to love this game. I've followed the steps of the developpement of wing commander saga, and now that i've just finished the game, i must tell you that you did a really great job.
If every game was made with this quality ....

Well, i'm out of words to thanks you enough about what you did but i need to say that it was more than a great happiness to deal with the 50 missions.

Again, as the english is not my native language ( i'm french btw ), i'll just finish this with a huge Thank you for giving me this sensations !

fishbone.

I want to backup what Fishbone has said. My first computer was an 8086 leading edge running at 7mhz and 540kb of ram. It could barely play wing commander 1, and boy did i play it. I played through the series and enjoyed every second of it(even prophecy) lol.
You guys did some damn fine work, the characters were VERY engaging and the inflight banter between them was very natural. I was definately surprised by the quality of the voice acting. The game was too hard for me using a mouse as control on normal, popped it down to easy and blasted my way through the game and enjoyed every second of it.

Thanks for making this game for us!

I was definately surprised by the quality of the voice acting

That is true, you have to know that the localisation of the games, especially in french are offen terrible (exception made for bioware games), so it was a real pleasure to have a quality of voice acting like this.

I really get attached to each of them, you made the character to have a real personnality.

My first was an amstrad cpc6128 but i discovered wing commander with my "new" 486 sx20 ^^

Localizations are nearly always terrible. I still remember how Wing Commander 3 was highly praised because it finally had a good localization, especially very professional voice actors.

As for Chris Roberts, no we haven't heard from him.
