EA should just relinquish the rights then to making sequels.

They clearly have no intention of making a new game anytime before the 27th century.

Let's ask them?

Yeah, that's not going to happen. Companies in the movies or games business work by buying up as many IP rights as they can, often with no intention of making anything from them. They just want to prevent anyone else from obtaining IPs first.

With EA? After ME3? No thanks. They won't get any money from me anymore as a consumer and they CERTAINLY will not get any from me as a developer.

If I won the megamillions I would've shelled out a few million to make a Wing Commander game. THAT is how much I loved it.
