Original FS2 mouse control style...?

Hi Guys!

Well, what can I say... fantastic effort. We are very fortunate to have your labour of love for our gaming enjoyment; Thankyou so much.

Unfortunately I'm finding the game a bit hard to play with the mouse* I know the way you've made it is the classic wing commander game mouse style, and I appreciate the effort you guys made to make the game as authentic as possible...

BUT...!!!

Is it possible to play the game with the original FS2 engine mouse style? I'm getting frustrated at Kilrathi who laugh at my wavering crosshairs...


*yes I use a mouse and keyboard to play a flight sim- I get crap about it all the time from my gamer pals

been enjoying the game, a ton but yes i do am frustrated about the mouse and keyboard controls, luckily i can remap certain keyboard w,a,s,d standard movement, however the mouse is really jeery* I understand why its like that to simulate inertia but i dont think its sometime most gamers from this genre like.

An option for either style... the best of both worlds!

Is there a hotkey (or is it possible to map a key) that switches between WC and FS2 mouse control styles (without having to go to options and change it)?

That'd be awesome, so during dogfights, I can use the WC method for prolong turning periods, and switch to FS2 control method when I fine tune my aiming and fire at the bandit.

That would be pretty neat, but I'm afraid there is no way to do that at this point

Try installing the patch ( www.wcsaga.com/news-archive-2012 ... lable.html ). That introduces a second mouse control scheme from what I remember.

That's not what he was asking. He already has the patch installed, and is asking if it is possible to switch between WC-style and FS-style mouse control mid-game, without having to pause and go into the options menu.
